Netflix Is Saying Goodbye to These Popular Titles—Catch Them While You Can!

Every month, Netflix quietly removes a chunk of titles from its platform—sometimes without giving subscribers a heads-up.

While viewers in the US usually get a notice about what’s leaving, that’s not the case in the UK. So, you might find some of your favorite shows and movies disappearing from your watchlist without warning.

Luckily, we have put together a list of everything leaving Netflix in September, so you can prioritize what to watch before it’s gone. (And if you’re curious about what’s new this month, they’ve also highlighted one of the best films of 2024 that’s just landed on the platform.)

Fan Favorites on the Chopping Block!

One of the most surprising titles leaving Netflix this month is Jane the Virgin, the beloved series that aired for five seasons from 2014 to 2019. With a perfect 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes, this show has a dedicated fan base, so its departure is sure to disappoint many.

Another notable title getting the axe is Cuties, the French film that sparked major controversy when it was released in 2020. The movie faced backlash over its US marketing, which some viewers found inappropriate, leading to widespread debate.

Despite the controversy, many defended the film, highlighting that it was intended as a critique of the sexualization of children.
