Jessica Guise, wife of British musician Frank Turner, has shared heartbreaking news about the end of their marriage following revelations about Turner’s actions during his US tour earlier this summer.
Guise, a singer-songwriter and psychotherapist, took to social media to explain the difficult situation. The couple, who tied the knot in 2019, decided to release a statement to avoid facing “difficult questions” in the future.
“Things Came to Light” During US Tour!
In her statement, Guise said, “Things have come to light about Frank’s actions on his US tour in June and since, which give me no choice but to accept that our marriage is over.” Alongside her words, she posted a black-and-white photo of the couple in an embrace.
Guise expressed that the events leading to their separation were “sudden,” “unexpected,” and caused “huge pain” for both of them.
She added that they are grieving the loss of their relationship and asked for privacy, noting that while both she and Turner often reflect on personal experiences through their music, they won’t be discussing this situation on social media.

A Decade of Love and Friendship!
Reflecting on their relationship, Guise shared that before the current events unfolded, they had enjoyed “a decade of love and joy.” She said, “A quarter of our lives spent facing the world as a team, as best friends.”
Despite the breakup, Guise said they are hoping to hold on to as much of their friendship as possible. “There’ll be songs, of course,” she hinted but emphasized they want to continue supporting and caring for each other however they can.
“The Cat Is Coming With Me”
In a lighter moment, Guise confirmed that their beloved cat would be staying with her. “The cat is coming with me,” she said, adding humorously, “she’s not built for the tour bus.”

Frank Turner’s Busy Tour Schedule
Turner, known for his work with the post-hardcore band Million Dead before going solo, has been touring extensively since the release of his latest album, Undefeated, in May.
His tour has taken him from Glastonbury to the UK, Canada, and soon to Europe, Australia, and Asia by the end of 2024.
Despite their recent travels together, including a magical holiday to Brazil and a much-needed break in Spain, the couple has now decided to go their separate ways.
At Christmas, Guise shared joyful pictures of the pair enjoying the holidays at home, but she also hinted that it had been a “long, taxing year.”
