A new documentary about “Superman” star Christopher Reeve, titled Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story, offers a touching glimpse into his life and legacy, including an emotional moment shared by his son.
The film explores Reeve’s incredible career and his activism following a tragic accident in 1995 that left him paralyzed.
Reeve, who was an avid horseman, was injured during an equestrian competition when his horse balked at a rail jump, throwing him forward and causing paralysis. He passed away in 2004 at the age of 52 due to heart failure.

In the trailer, Reeve’s eldest son, Matthew, shares a deeply moving memory of his father. “We said goodbye, he gave this wave,” Matthew recalls, visibly emotional. “That was the last time I saw him on his feet.”
The documentary includes Christopher Reeve’s own words and features intimate interviews with his wife, Dana Reeve, who passed away in 2006 from lung cancer, and close friends, including Susan Sarandon and Glenn Close.
