Kenny Chesney is known for more than just his music – he’s also got a big heart.
Before his performances at Gillette Stadium in August, the country superstar donated over $1 million to various charities throughout Massachusetts, according to Mass Live.
The donations went to organizations like Boston Medical Center, the Foxborough Police and Fire Departments, and nonprofits that support animals in need and youth music programs.
Giving Back Quietly, But with Impact
“Kenny has always felt a special connection with the people who have been part of the Gillette Stadium experience over the years,” a spokesperson told Mass Live.
“He prefers to give back quietly, to make a difference in others’ lives without seeking recognition. This is his way of showing appreciation for everything that has made those stadium shows so memorable. It’s a gift from him to others, not something he wants to be in the spotlight for.”
