Just days after Demi Moore gave an update on her ex-husband Bruce Willis’s health, their daughter, Tallulah Willis, also opened up about how her father is doing as he battles frontotemporal dementia.
In a candid interview on the Today show, Tallulah shared that while some days are “painful,” her family continues to cherish the moments they have with him.
Bruce, known for his iconic roles in action films, stepped away from acting in March 2022 after being diagnosed with aphasia, a condition that affects communication.
Later, his wife, Emma Heming Willis, revealed that his condition had progressed to frontotemporal dementia, a rare form of the disease.

During her appearance, Tallulah described her father’s current state as “stable,” which she views as a positive sign given the circumstances. “He’s stable which, in this situation, is good,” Tallulah shared.
“It’s hard. There are painful days, but there’s so much love. It’s taught me not to take any moment for granted. I really believe we’d be best friends, and I think he’s very proud of me.”
Her relationship with her father, though deeply affected by his illness, remains filled with love and hope. In an essay she wrote for Vogue earlier this year, Tallulah shared how she sees parts of her father in herself.
“I have hopes for my father that I’m so reluctant to let go of. I just know we’d be such good friends if only there were more time.”
She wrote.

Cherishing Every Moment
Tallulah also reflected on the advice she received from her mother, Demi Moore, about navigating these difficult times. “You have to be in the moment, you have to be present,” Moore told her, emphasizing the importance of appreciating every day.
In a previous interview with People, Tallulah shared a similar sentiment, explaining that her father’s condition had neither worsened nor improved. She said:
“He’s doing the same as the last update, which I’m told is good. But no matter what kind of day it is, my family and I meet him where he’s at.”
As the Willis family continues to navigate this challenging journey, they remain united by love and a deep appreciation for the time they have together.
