Mandy Moore isn’t holding back when it comes to her frustrations with the paparazzi. The 40-year-old This Is Us star, who is in her ninth month of pregnancy, took to Instagram to vent about being followed “everywhere” in Los Angeles as she prepares for the arrival of her third child.
“I’m About to Give Birth, and They’re Still Following Me”
In a series of Instagram stories, Mandy shared her annoyance with being tailed by paparazzi during such an intimate time in her life. “There are very real, consequential things happening in the world, but mini rant coming,” she began.
“I’m literally about to give birth—any second, any day now—and for the last few days, someone has been following me in their car. Everywhere.”
Mandy explained that she and her family live a quiet life far from the hustle of Hollywood, which made the situation even more frustrating. “I’m 40 years old. I’m not someone trying to get my picture taken. And I’m just annoyed,” she admitted.

Mandy didn’t hold back when questioning the necessity of the paparazzi in today’s world. Clearly fed up with the invasion of privacy, she said:
“Hello, we have social media. We’re all sharing our own information and pictures. Why do you exist?” she asked. Who even cares about people taking other people’s pictures anymore?”
She shared that it wasn’t just about the photos—it was also about the intrusive and reckless behavior she witnessed. “This person was running red lights and stop signs, following me to get a picture. I’m just like, ‘You’re doing too much. I see you. Ew.'”

Just Trying to Get a Car Wash!
In the middle of her rant, Mandy shared a relatable mom moment, explaining that she was just trying to get her husband’s car washed while balancing life with her two young sons, Gus, 3, and Ozzie, 1.
“I was trying to be nice. I was going to do the drive-through car wash and vacuum everything out myself,” she said.
Despite the paparazzo’s efforts, Mandy proudly updated her followers a few hours later, letting them know she successfully completed her car wash mission with babies and husband in tow. “He didn’t win!” she joked.
