Netflix continues to be a global hotspot for Korean shows.
In the first half of this year, three Korean series made it into Netflix’s top 10 list for Non-English content, according to the streaming giant’s Engagement Report from January to June.
The Standout Shows
The shows that hit big include Queen of Tears, Parasyte: The Grey, and My Demon. These dramas pulled in 29 million, 25 million, and 18 million views, respectively.
While Parasyte: The Grey is a Netflix original, Queen of Tears and My Demon are licensed titles.

Queen of Tears Dominates Korean Content
In the overall rankings, which mix both English and Non-English series, Queen of Tears stood out at 14th place, making it the highest-ranking Korean drama on the platform.
Korean Movies Also Shine
As for films, Badland Hunters, starring Don Lee (aka Ma Dong-seok), claimed the title of the most popular Korean movie on Netflix. It took 17th place in the overall most-watched films list.

Even though no Korean shows made it into the global top 10, Non-English titles accounted for nearly one-third of all viewing in the top 10, continuing their rise in popularity from last year.
